Please note that we only work on a costs plus basis, and that any estimates are for rough guidance only. It is expected that the Client will satisfy himself that all times and materials are correct. All materials will be invoiced at cost and no surcharge will be added. Labour is charged in half hour, or part thereof, increments according to the following formula:

First ½ hour	£30
Then each ½ hour increment	£20

Outside of 1 mile of the junction of Camberwell New Road & Wyndham Road, travelling time is chargeable at a rate of ½ hour minimum and 1 ½ hour maximum.

Worked example 1: Job takes 1 man 2 hours to complete = 2 man hours
= (1 × 30) + (3 × 20) = £90.00

Worked example 2: Job takes 2 men 6 hours to complete = 12 man hours
= [(1 × 30) + (11 × 20)] × 2 = £470.00

Worked example 3: Job takes 2 men 40 hours to complete = 80 man hours
= [(1 × 30) + (79 × 20)] × 2 = £3220.00

• We cover most trades and guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from completion.
• Records of times and materials are kept on site and the client is able to access these freely.
• We reserve the right to make such changes as may be deemed necessary in order to complete works to our satisfaction.
• All invoices are to be paid within 10 days of receipt.
• Usually a deposit is required on commencement against materials. On bigger jobs, progress payments will be required weekly.
• Unless expedient, all materials and/or services are sourced locally.
• We accept all responsibility for our own decisions but cannot be responsible for any losses or damages where third party has any influence.

Lastly and most importantly, as a philosophy, we do not consider ourselves to be a business but rather diligent workmen whose task it is to implement your wishes. Effectively the client is the employer and we will use all skills and understandings at our disposal to complete any appointed task to your satisfaction. We seek to enter into a relationship of care with our client and believe our client will render the same to us.

N.B. Due to the severe problems we are experiencing with parking, we have no option but to make the onus for valid permits the customer's responsibility – please ensure that you are in possession of sufficient valid permits.
